Description

Credo (I Believe) is a coffee-house style evening of Catholic Apologetics. It is held from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM at Newman Theological College on Thursday evenings once a month (Oct 19, Nov 16, Dec 14, Jan 18, Feb 15, Mar 21, Apr 18, May 16).

The evening begins with Compline (Night Prayer in the Divine Office), followed by a talk, group discussions, Q&A and concluding with a social (refreshments provided).

This year’s series focuses on the Seven Deadly Sins and how to overcome them. Each month we’ll take up one of the traditional Seven Deadly Sins and unmask its contemporary face. We will then reflect on how the Catechism, Thomas Aquinas, and the Catholic intellectual tradition offer us virtues as antidotes to sin in our modern context.

Credo is geared towards young adults (ages 15 – 30) but all are welcome!
